McKellier Woodtype has been wood type since 2018. With a 30 year experience in graphic design Mark offers an ever expanding collection typefaces, (currently releases one a month since 2021) designed by him as well as from type designers around the world, along with a revival of classic designs. He also offers ornaments, borders and manicules, along with a replacement letter service. Collaborations and commissions are welcome. See what Mark is currently up to on Instagram.
As Mark is a part time type cutter please expect around 12 week turnaround time for typefaces.

Scott Moore recently retired after 35 years of teaching Industrial Arts at Pickerington High School near Columbus, OH and now continues the tradition of cutting end grain hard maple wood type by the historic pantograph method. He has two degrees from Miami University in Oxford, OH where he worked as a lab assistant in the print shop as part of his Industrial Arts studies. Letterpress and offset printing were taught as part of Industrial Arts during the 1950-70s.

Type High Design offers brand new wood type as complete founts, ornaments and custom orders. They cater for both Pica & Didot and ship all around the globe. Their lead time changes are dependent on the number/size of orders, but they do aim for 1-4 weeks.
Offers pantograph-cut wood type in a variety of font schemes and sizes. Their typeface selection is a growing combination of designs from original American Wood Type patterns, revived and redesigned victorian faces, and brand new faces never before cut into wood. They offer simple shapes, calendar fonts, catchphrases, ornaments, arrrows and are always open to custom projects.

Petrescu Press has been producing Wood Type for letterpress printing since 2013 . Their Wood Type collection consists of: 78 Typefaces, 30 Manicules, 61 Sets Ornaments, 13 Sets Borders, 12 Holiday Sets Items, 23 Different Stars, 99 Graphic Sets Elements, 15 Catchwords, and 12 Heraldry Wooden Blocks.
